The issue preventing downloading of large input files has been resolved and the cap on input size has been increased back to 5,000 variants.
There is currently an issue preventing users from downloading outputs when using large input files. For the time being we’ve reduced inputs to a maximum of 1,000 variants. If you are interested in using Oncotator with much larger inputs, we recommend installing the tool locally on your machine or cluster.
We’ve updated the version of Oncotator we’re using from v220.127.116.11 to v18.104.22.168. This update comes with many improvements and bug fixes to Oncotator’s annotation engine, most notably improved transcript selection. For a full list of changes, see our release page.
We’re now published! Please see our Database-in-Brief article describing Oncotator, published in Human Mutation.
We’ve completely rewritten both the front- and back-ends of the web application, which will provide us with a better technical foundation for future development. In addition, we’ve updated the instance of Oncotator running under the hood to the latest stable release v22.214.171.124.
If needed for legacy reasons, the old Oncotator site can still be accessed here for a limited time.
Please visit the forum for any questions or feedback. Thanks for using the tool!
