How do I learn more about genetic screening?
For a general technical overview, please review

Can I collaborate with GPP?
-
Broad & established collaborators: Visit the GPP Web Portal
(Broad /
Screener)
to get started.
-
External investigators: We prioritize collaborations with groups actively
working with Broad-affiliated partners. Case-by-case academic collaborations are also
considered for unique biological or technological opportunities.
-
Other ways to engage: We can often assist with reagent production or other
routine laboratory services, depending on the complexity of the order and current bandwidth.
Please note that some of our large libraries and common vectors are available on
Addgene and relevant protocols are
provided in the method sections of related publications.
What computational resources are available?
We host several public tools to enable functional genomics projects:
What reagents are available?
-
Public: Human and mouse lentiviral libraries for CRISPR knockout, activation,
and inhibition are available via Addgene.
Please note that GPP does not provide troubleshooting support to users who do not have an
established collaboration.
-
Broad & established collaborators: We provide genome-scale and
user-defined CRISPR libraries, customized vectors, ORF and RNAi reagents, Cas9-expressing
cell lines, positive control lentiviruses, and more.
How do I prepare genomic DNA samples from a pooled genetic screen for Next Generation Sequencing?
-
Addgene users: Follow the protocols provided on the Addgene website.
GPP cannot provide troubleshooting for independent screens.
-
Broad & established collaborators: We provide end-to-end service,
including PCR, sequencing, and data deconvolution. Please visit the GPP Web Portal
(Broad /
Screener)
for more information.
