Fragmid-based vectors
By generating interchangeable parts comprising a variety of Cas proteins, sgRNAs, promoters, and selection markers,
GPP has created a Golden Gate cloning system that enables the design of custom vectors tailored to their specific biologic application.
Fragmid is an online tool that supports this system, allowing users to browse fragments and generate made-to-order vector maps, and
dimgarF is a tool to browse preassembled vectors made via Fragmid. We are constantly updating available fragments and welcome ideas
for ones that expand the capabilities of these resources.
For more information about the Fragmid toolkit, read our paper
on modular vector assembly.
Legacy vectors are older vectors not assembled via Fragmid. While these vectors are still functional and will remain available,
we suggest Fragmid-based ones to make full use of our positive controls and streamline any potential future modifications.
